Jushab-hesed

One of the sons of Zerubbabel, descendant of David, listed among a second group of Zerubbabel’s sons (1 Chr 3:20). Another list of Zerubbabel’s children, possibly the ones born in exile, is found in 1 Chr 3:19. Jushab-Hesed, then, may have been born after the return to Palestine.

JU´SHAB-HE´SED (juʹshab-heʹsed; “returner of kindness”). According to some, the son of Pedaiah (1 Chron. 3:20); but according to Keil (Com., ad loc.), the last named of the sons of Zerubbabel. Keil thinks that the two groups of sons (vv. 19–20) are mentioned separately because they had different mothers.
