Jung Codex. The title given to Codex I of the *Nag Hammadi papyri which was acquired in 1952 by the Jung Institute for Analytical Psychology at Zurich. It is now with the other codices in Cairo.

Jung Codex
Jung Codex. Alternate name given sometimes to Codex I in the Nag Hammadi Library. Because the well-known Swiss psychologist Carl G. Jung had an interest in Gnosticism, this ms was initially acquired by the Jung Institute, though it was subsequently returned to Egypt.
