Jozadak
Jozadak (joh´zuh-dak; a shortened form of Jehozadak; Heb., “the Lord is righteous”), a priest, the father of Jeshua, the high priest in Jerusalem following the return from the Babylonian exile (Ezra 3:2; 10:18). He is most often called Jehozadak (1 Chron. 16:14; Hag. 1:12). See also Jehozadak.

JOSEDECH. Father of Joshua, the high priest during the post-Captivity era (Hag 1:1, 12, 14; 2:2, 4; Zech 6:11). In all these verses ASV and RSV have Jehozadak. In Ezr 3:2, 8; 5:2; 10:18 and Neh 12:26 the same Heb. name is spelled Jozadak in KJV, ASV and RSV. This man, having been carried captive to Babylon

JOSEDECH; JOSEDEK<jos’-e-dek>, <jos’e-dek> ([ Ἰωσεδέκ, Iosedek]): Father of Jeshua (1 Esdras 5:5). In Hag 1:1 the Revised Version (British and American), the relationship is described as “Joshua the son of JEHOZADAK (which see), the high priest.”
