JOHA (PERSON) [Heb yôḥāʾ (יֹוחָא‎); yōḥāʾ (יֹחָא‎)]. 1. A Benjaminite, the son of Beriah (1 Chr 8:16). His father and uncle Shema (= Shimei? 1 Chr 8:21) are named as the heads of families which once lived in Aijalon, who put to flight the inhabitants of Gath (1 Chr 8:13), an incident otherwise unknown.
