Jether, Son of Gideon
Jether, Son of Gideon (יֶתֶר‎, yether). Firstborn son of Gideon the judge (Judg 8:20). Jether was commanded by his father to kill the two kings of Midian, Zebah and Zalmunna, but Jether refused to do so because he was afraid.
