Jerusha jə-roo̅-ʹshə [Heb. yerûšāʾ—‘possession’]. In 2 K. 15:33, the same as Jerushah (Heb. yerûšâ) of 2 Ch. 27:1, the mother of King Jotham of Judah. Zadok was her father’s name; he may be the priest of 1 Ch. 6:12 (MT 5:38).
