Jared, Son of Mahalalel
Jared, Son of Mahalalel (יֶרֶד‎, yered; Ἰάρετ, Iaret). The father of Enoch and a fifth generation descendant of Adam (Gen 5:15–20; 1 Chr 1:2; Luke 3:37). He lived for 962 years.

Jered (יֶרֶד‎, yered). Father of Gedor in the line of Judah (1 Chr 4:18). Jered was the son of either Eshtemoa, Ezrah, or Mered and his Judaean wife, depending on the understanding of the difficult genealogy in 1 Chr 4.
