Jamnites
Jamnites (Ἰαμνι̂ται, Iamnitai). The inhabitants of Jamnia whose port and navy were burned by Judas Maccabeus (2 Macc 12:9). Jamnia, the ancient Jabneel, is on the northern border of Judah near the sea.
