Ishhod (Person)
ISHHOD (PERSON) [Heb ʾı̂šhôd (אִישְׁהֹוד)]. Manassite son of Hammolecheth (1 Chr 7:18). His name, suggesting (parental wishes for his) physical strength, probably meant “man of vitality” (îš + hôd) (Noth IPN, 225). His brothers were Abiezer and Mahlah, although the latter name may be feminine in form
