Irpeel irʹpi-əl [Heb. yirpeʾēl—‘God heals’] (Josh. 18:27). An unidentified city allotted to the tribe of Benjamin. It may have been located in the hill country NW of Jerusalem. Rafat, N of Gibeon and 10.5 km (6.5 mi) NW of Jerusalem, has been suggested as the site.
