Imna (Person)
IMNA (PERSON) [Heb yimnāʿ (יִמְנָע)] A descendant of Asher, found in the segmented tribal genealogy in 1 Chr 7:30–40. The name occurs in the LXX as Imana, and in LXXL as Iamna. In form, it is a verbal imperfect 3 m.s. qal conjugation of the root mnʿ, meaning “he will withhold,” and may be a hypocoristicon
