Hezron, Son of Perez (חֶצְרוֹן‎, chetsron; Ἑσρώμ, Hesrōm). Descendant of Perez, grandson of Judah and Tamar (Gen 46:12; Num 26:21; Ruth 4:18–19; 1 Chr 2:5; 1 Chr 2:9; 1 Chr 2:18; 1 Chr 2:21; 1 Chr 2:24–25; Matt 1:3; Luke 3:33). David’s genealogy includes the clan of Hezron.
