Haymo of Faversham (d. 1244), English *Franciscan friar. Born at Faversham in Kent, he became a Master of Divinity at Paris and, prob. in 1226, he entered the Order of Friars Minor. Soon afterwards he returned to England and lectured at *Oxford. In 1230 the General Chapter at *Assisi sent him as one
