Hasupha hə-soo̅ʹfə [Heb. aśûp̱āʾ, aśup̱āʾ]. Head of a family of temple servants among the returning exiles (Ezr. 2:43; Neh. 7:46). Neh. 7:46 AV has “Hashupha,” and in the par passage 1 Esd. 5:29 the AV and the NEB have “Asipha.”
