A descendant of Judah and father of the person or people known as Aharhel (1 Chr 4:8). Aharhel is also described as the son of Koz (1 Chr 4:8). This is not necessarily contradictory, since the words “father” and “son” do not always imply direct father-son relationships in genealogies, and generations may be omitted.
