Ancestor of Shallum and father of Tikvah (2 Kgs 22:14). It seems that Harhas is referred to as Hasrah in the parallel passage 2 Chr 34:22, although it is possible that another ancestor is being referenced in this passage.

HARHAS (PERSON) [Heb ḥarḥas (חַרְחַס)]. Var. HASRAH. Grandfather of Shallum, husband of the prophetess Huldah (2 Kgs 22:14). The name is unusual and may have resulted from metathesis. In the parallel text in 2 Chr 34:22, Shallum’s grandfather is Ḥasrâ, which may be the proper form of the name.Pauline

HAS´RAH (hasʹra). The father (or mother) of Tikvah or Tokhath and grandfather of Shallum, which last was husband of Huldah the prophetess (2 Chron. 34:22). The parallel passage (2 Kings 22:14) gives the name, probably by transposition, in the form Harhas. Hasrah is said to have been “keeper of the wardrobe,”
