HAGGI
HAGGI, HAGGITES hag´ee, hag´it [חַגִּיkhaggi]. 1. The second-listed of seven sons of Gad and grandson of Jacob and Zilpah (Gen 46:16). Haggi was one of Zilpah’s sixteen descendants among the seventy who arrived with Jacob in Egypt (Gen 46:18, 27).2. An Israelite clan whose ancestor was Haggi (Num 26:15).
