Father, God AsIt is tempting to view this “God as Father” only in terms relating to human anthropomorphisms, that is, to fathers of human children. Hence many hasten to say (rightly) that God is beyond gender, and especially in view of tragic experiences of abuse at home, or of an authoritarian father.
