Gilonite
Giloh, Gilo, Gilonite. Village, and the inhabitants, in the mountains of southern Judah (Jos 15:51). David’s counselor Ahitophel was a Gilonite (2 Sm 15:12; 23:34, rsv Gilo). It has been identified with modern Khirbet Jala just northeast of Hebron.
