EZRAHITE. A descendant of Zerah of the tribe of Judah as Ethan the Ezrahite (1 Kgs 4:31; 1 Chr 2:16; Ps 89, title), whose wisdom was exceeded only by that of Solomon. Heman, his brother, is called the Ezrahite in the title of Ps 88. Or 1 Kgs 4:31 could mean that Ethan was an ’ezrāḥɩ̂, a native, i.e.,
