EN-HAZOR (PLACE) [Heb ʿên ḥāṣôr (עֵין חָצֹור)]. A fortified town of Naphtali, mentioned between Edrei and Yiron (Josh 19:37). It has been proposed that it can be identified as ʿn-y, referred to in the town list of Tutmoses III. Its location is not certain. Some scholars have placed it at Khirbet
En-hazor. Fortified city of the OT (Jos 19:37). Of several Hazors in the OT, En-hazor was probably located in Galilee. Its exact location, however, is uncertain.

En-Hazoren-hāʹzôr [Heb. ʿên ḥāṣôr; Gk. pēgé̄ Asor]. A fortified city in Naphtali (Josh. 19:37). The site is usually identified as Khirbet Haṣīreh, on the slopes W of Kedesh near Ḥazzûr. Other geographers, however, attempt no identification.
EN-HAZOR. Josh 19:37 locates this village in the tribe of Naphtali adjacent to Kadesh, Edrei and Iron. Its site is unknown; however, some speculation exists relative to its identification with Khirbet Hazireh or Hazzur on the slopes about nine miles W of Kedesh.
