ELUZAI (PERSON) [Heb ʾĕlʿûzay (אֱלְעוּזַי)]. One of the Benjaminite warriors who left Saul to ally themselves with David at Ziklag (1 Chr 12:6—Eng 12:5). 1 Chr 12:1–22 is a section which provides information on the accumulating support for David in his early career, prior to his ascending to the throne.
