Elishua, Son of David (אֱלִישָׁמָע‎, elishama'). A son of David who was born after David established Jerusalem as the seat of his rule (2 Sam 5:15; 1 Chr 3:6; 14:5).

Elishua
Elishua el-i-shoo̅ʹə, ē-lishʹoo̅-ə [Heb. ʾĕlîšû (a)ʿ—‘God is salvation’]. A son of David (2 S. 5:15; 1 Ch. 14:5); apparently called Elishama in 1 Ch. 3:6 through a misreading by the copyist.
