Eliehoenai, Son of Zerahiah (אֶלְיְהוֹעֵינַי‎, elyeho'einay). A leader of the family of Pahath-moab who returned from exile with Ezra, leading a group of 200 men (Ezra 8:4).

ELIEHOENAI (PERSON) [Heb ʾelyĕhôʿênay (אֶלְיְהֹועֵינַי)]. Two persons bear this name in the OT. The name itself (= “toward Y are my eyes”) follows a common pattern of Akkadian names from the Neo-Babylonian period, as in Itti-Nabū-īnīa (Tallqvist 1913: 84), “toward Nabu are my eyes.” In 1 Esdr 8:31
