Eliab (son of Jesse)

The oldest son of Jesse and brother of David (1 Chr 2:13). During David’s kingship, Eliab seems to have been the leader of the tribe of Judah; the Septuagint identifies the Elihu (אֱלִיהוּ‎, elihu) listed in 1 Chr 27:18 as Eliab (Ελιαβ, Eliab).

Eliab, Son of Jesse
Eliab, Son of Jesse (אֱלִיאָב‎, eli'av). The oldest son of Jesse and brother of David (1 Chr 2:13). During David’s kingship, Eliab seems to have been the leader of the tribe of Judah; the Septuagint identifies the Elihu (אֱלִיהוּ‎, elihu) listed in 1 Chr 27:18 as Eliab (Ελιαβ, Eliab).
