Eder (ee´duhr; Heb., “flock” or “herd”).1 A Benjaminite ancestor of a family group (1 Chron. 8:15).2 A levitical leader in the family group of Merari (1 Chron. 25:23).3 A settlement in southern Judah near the border with Edom, probably in the vicinity of Beer-sheba (Josh. 15:21); the site is unknown.
