Do Not DestroyMost likely the opening words of a tune (Heb. ʾal-tašḥēṯ) according to which Pss. 57–59, 75 were to be sung, noted in the superscriptions to those psalms. An alternate suggestion is that the words represent a cultic instruction (cf. Isa. 65:8).
