Disorder
Disorder [Gk. akatastasía] (2 Cor. 12:20; Jas. 3:16); AV TUMULTS, CONFUSION; NEB also GENERAL DISORDER. The literal meaning of the Greek noun is “without order or stability.” The RSV translates the same word as “confusion” in 1 Cor. 14:33 and its plural form as “tumults” in Lk. 21:9 and 2 Cor. 6:5.
