CHI´DON (kiʹdon; a “spear”), Ki´don (NIV). Thought by some to be an Israelite on whose threshing floor the accident to the Ark, and the death of Uzza, took place as the Ark was being carried to Jerusalem (1 Chron. 13:9). It is more probable that it was the name of the place.
