The plant קִיקָיוֹן‎ (qiqaiwon) is possibly a castor oil plant. The קִיקָיוֹן‎ (qiqaiwon) is the plant that provided shade for Jonah (Jonah 4:6). Castor oil plants grow wild in Israel and can grow up to twelve feet high.
