Canaan, Son of Ham
Canaan, Son of Ham (כְּנַעַן‎, kena'an). The fourth son of Ham and grandson of Noah (Gen 10:1–6). Cursed by Noah for his father Ham’s offense (Gen 9:20–27). He is presented as the ancestor of the Canaanites (Gen 10:15–19).
