Azmon [ăzˊmən] (Heb.˓aṣmôn “strong”). A place on the southern border of Israel (Num. 34:4–5; Josh. 15:4). Its proposed location is near ˓Ain el-Qeṣeimeh, 16 km. (10 mi.) northwest of Kadesh-barnea; remains of an Egyptian outpost are still visible.
