Attent; Attentive In 2 Ch. 6:40; 7:15 the AV uses “attent” archaicly for “attentive” (Heb. qaššuḇ), “Very attentive” in Lk. 19:48, AV, translates GK. ekkrémamai, “hang upon”: “the people hung upon his words” (RSV, NEB).
