Davidson, Andrew Bruce
Davidson, Andrew Bruce (1831–1902), Scottish OT scholar. He belonged to the *Free Church of Scotland and was educated at Marischal College, Aberdeen, and at New College, Edinburgh. At the latter he became assistant professor of Hebrew in 1858 and professor of Hebrew and Oriental languages in 1863.
