Ammiel (gatekeeper)

The sixth son of Obed-Edom who was appointed to serve in the “house of Yahweh” (the tabernacle) as a gate and gatehouse (or storehouse) keeper. Obed-Edom served at the south gate toward the end of King David‘s reign (1 Chr 26:5, 15), and presumably the same was true for his sons.
