Amariah, Son of Azariah
Amariah, Son of Azariah (אֲמַרְיָה‎, amaryah). A descendant of Levi and ancestor of Ezra (Ezra 7:3). The son of Azariah and father of Ahitub. It is probable that Amariah, Son of Azariah and Amariah, Son of Meraioth (1 Chr 6:6–7, 52) are the same person.
