Ahio (son of Elpaal)
Excerpt from the Lexham Bible Dictionary, the most advanced Bible dictionary.
A member of the tribe of Benjamin listed in 1 Chr 8:14 as part of the genealogy of Saul found in 1 Chr 8:1–40. The syntax of the text leaves it unclear whether the names found in 1 Chr 8:14–15 continue the list of the sons of Elpaal from 1 Chr 8:12–13 or begin the list of the sons of Beriah that ends in 1 Chr 8:16. The list returns to additional sons of Elpaal in 1 Chr 8:17–18. Ahio may have been a son of Elpaal or a son of Beriah and grandson of Elpaal.

Ahio (Person)
AHIO (PERSON) [Heb ʾaḥyô (אַחְיֹו)]. According to the Hebrew text, 3 different people were named Ahio. However, since the consonantal spelling of Ahio (ʾḥyw) is identical with the word “his brother” or “his brothers,” it is uncertain if all these Ahios should be read with the MT as personal nouns.
