Achsah
Achsah akʹsə [Heb. ‘aḵsâ—‘ankle-ornament’]; AV also ACHSA (1 Ch. 2:49). The daughter of Caleb whom he gave in marriage to his younger kinsman Othniel son of Kenaz, as a reward for smiting Kiriath-sepher (Josh. 15:16ff; Jgs. 1:12ff). Caleb subsequently gave her some springs in the Negeb as her dowry.
