Abinadab (son of Jesse)

Second son of Jesse and older brother of David (1 Sam 16:8; 1 Chr 2:13). He was a soldier in Saul’s army with his brothers Eliab and Shammah. All three were in the Elah Valley when Saul’s forces faced Goliath and David was sent by Jesse with provisions for them (1 Sam 17:13, 17).
