15 Then hthe seventh angel sounded: iAnd there were loud voices in heaven, saying, j“The 6kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, kand He shall reign forever and ever!” 16 And lthe twenty-four elders who sat before God on their thrones fell on their faces and mworshiped God, 17 saying:

“We give You thanks, O Lord God Almighty,

The One nwho is and who was 7and who is to come,

Because You have taken Your great power oand reigned.

18 The nations were pangry, and Your 8wrath has come,

And the time of the qdead, that they should be judged,

And that You should reward Your servants the prophets and the saints,

And those who fear Your name, small and great,

And should destroy those who destroy the earth.”

About The New King James Version

The New King James Version is a total update of the 1611 King James Version, also known as the "Authorized Version." Every attempt has been made to maintain the beauty of the original version while updating the English grammar to contemporary style and usage. The result is much better "readability." It is noteworthy that the NKJV is one of the few modern translations still based on the "Western" or "Byzantine" manuscript tradition. This makes the New King James Version an invaluable aid to comparative English Bible study.
