Psalm 95

Come,t let us sing for joyu to the Lord;

let us shout aloudv to the Rockw of our salvation.

Let us come before himx with thanksgivingy

and extol him with musicz and song.

For the Lord is the great God,a

the great Kingb above all gods.c

In his hand are the depths of the earth,d

and the mountain peaks belong to him.

The sea is his, for he made it,

and his hands formed the dry land.e

Come, let us bow downf in worship,g

let us kneelh before the Lord our Maker;i

for he is our God

and we are the people of his pasture,j

the flock under his care.

Today, if only you would hear his voice,

“Do not harden your heartsk as you did at Meribah,a l

as you did that day at Massahb in the wilderness,m

where your ancestors testedn me;

they tried me, though they had seen what I did.

10 For forty yearso I was angry with that generation;

I said, ‘They are a people whose hearts go astray,p

and they have not known my ways.’q

11 So I declared on oathr in my anger,

‘They shall never enter my rest.’ ”s
