Jehizkiah, Son of Shallum (יְחִזְקִיָּהוּ, yechizqiyyahu). A chief of the tribe of Ephraim who opposed the enslavement of the Judahites who were taken captive by Pekah in the war against Ahaz (2 Chr 28:12). His name is an alternate spelling of “Hezekiah.”
