Bougaean (Βουγαιος, Bougaios). An epithet for Haman used three times in the Greek version (LXX) of Esther and the Additions to Esther. It occurs in the Greek Esther 3:1 (LXX) in place of “the Agagite and in the Additions to Esther 12:6. In the Greek Additions to Esther, Bougaean is also inserted at Esther 9:10.
