Achshaph (אַכְשָׁף, akhshaph). A city-state in Canaan. Its king was member of an alliance led by Jabin of Hazor against Joshua (Josh 11:1; 12:20). It marks part of the boundary of the tribe of Asher (Josh 19:25).

It was located in the northern part of the territory conquered by Joshua. It is mentioned in the list of conquered kings among Hazor, Megiddo, and Taanach. Is called Akšapa in the 14th-century bc Amarna Letters, which note that the king of Achshaph sent 50 chariots to help the king of Jerusalem. Its exact site is unknown, but it was likely near modern-day Acre (Acco).
