3 aIf ye then be risen with Christ, seek bthose things which are above, cwhere Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your ||affection on bthings above, not on things on the earth. For dye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. When Christ, who is eour life, fshall appear, then shall ye also appear with him gin glory.

hMortify therefore iyour members which are upon the earth; kfornication, kuncleanness, lminordinate affection, evil mconcupiscence, and kcovetousness, nwhich is idolatry: oFor which things’ sake the wrath of God cometh on pthe children of ndisobedience: In the which qye also walked rsome time, when ye lived in them. But now ye also sput off all these; tanger, twrath, tmalice, tblasphemy, ufilthy communication out of your mouth. wLie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off sxthe old man with his deeds; 10 And yhave put on zthe new man, awhich is renewed bin knowledge after cthe image of him that dcreated him: 11 Where there is neither efGreek nor Jew, gcircumcision nor uncircumcision, hBarbarian, iScythian, fbond nor free: but Christ is kall, and in all. 12 yPut on therefore, as lthe elect of God, holy and mbeloved, nobowels of mercies, okindness, phumbleness of mind, pmeekness, plongsuffering; 13 pForbearing one another, and oforgiving one another, if any man have a ||quarrel against any: oeven as Christ forgave you, so also do ye. 14 qAnd above all these things rput on scharity, which is the tbond of uperfectness. 15 And let wthe peace of God rule in your hearts, xto the which also ye are called yin one body; zand be ye thankful. 16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly abin all wisdom; bteaching and badmonishing one another cin psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing dwith grace in your hearts to the Lord. 17 And ewhatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, fgiving thanks to God and the Father by him.

18 gWives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, has it is fit in the Lord. 19 iHusbands, love your wives, and kbe not bitter against them. 20 lChildren, obey your parents min all things: for this is nwell pleasing unto the Lord. 21 oFathers, provoke not your children to anger, lest they be pdiscouraged. 22 qServants, obey min all things your masters according to the flesh; qnot with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but qin singleness of heart, fearing God: 23 And ewhatsoever ye do, do it rheartily, as sto the Lord, and not unto men; 24 tKnowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of uthe inheritance: for qsye serve the Lord Christ. 25 But he that doeth wrong wshall receive for the wrong which he hath done: and xthere is no respect of persons.
