23 “ ‘If in spite of these things you do not accept my correction but continue to be hostile toward me,

23 “And if by this discipline you are not turned to me but walk contrary to me,

23 And if ye will not be reformed by me by these things, but will walk contrary unto me;

23 “And if you fail to learn the lesson and continue your hostility toward me,

23 ‘And if by these things you are not reformed by Me, but walk contrary to Me,

23 “ ‘If you don’t learn your lesson after all these things, and if you still turn against me,

23 And if by these things ye will not be reformed unto me, but will walk contrary unto me;

23 And if ye will not be disciplined by me through these, but walk contrary unto me,

23 “If this discipline does not help and you still resist,

23 “If in spite of these things you do not accept My discipline, but act with hostility toward Me,

23 If in spite of these punishments you have not turned back to me, but continue hostile to me,

23 “ ‘And if you do not accept correction from me through these things, but you go against me in hostility,

23 “ ‘After all of those things, suppose you still do not accept my warnings. And suppose you continue to be my enemy.

23 ‘And if by these things you are not turned to Me, but act with hostility against Me,
