But fire from heaven came down on the attacking armies and consumed them.

There are so many people they will be like sand on the seashore. 9 And Satan’s army marched across the earth and gathered around the camp of God’s people and the city God loves. But fire came down from heaven and burned them up.

7 When 1,000 years are over, Satan will be freed from his prison. 8 He will go out to deceive Gog and Magog, the nations in the four corners of the earth, and gather them for war. They will be as numerous as the grains of sand on the seashore. 9 ⸤I saw that⸥ they spread over the broad expanse of the earth and surrounded the camp of God’s holy people and the beloved city. Fire came from heaven and burned them up.

Their number is like the sand of the sea. 9 They came up over the surface of the earth and surrounded the encampment of the saints, the beloved city. Then fire came down from heaven and consumed them.

Their troops are as many as the grains of sand on the seashore. 9 They marched across the whole earth. They surrounded the place where God’s people were camped. It was the city he loves. But fire came down from heaven and burned them up.
