Luke 22:56–59

56 And a certain servant girl, seeing him as he sat by the fire, looked intently at him and said, “This man was also with Him.”

57 But he denied 7Him, saying, “Woman, I do not know Him.”

58 eAnd after a little while another saw him and said, “You also are of them.”

But Peter said, “Man, I am not!”

59 fThen after about an hour had passed, another confidently affirmed, saying, “Surely this fellow also was with Him, for he is a gGalilean.”

Luke 22:56–59 — The New International Version (NIV)

56 A servant girl saw him seated there in the firelight. She looked closely at him and said, “This man was with him.”

57 But he denied it. “Woman, I don’t know him,” he said.

58 A little later someone else saw him and said, “You also are one of them.”

“Man, I am not!” Peter replied.

59 About an hour later another asserted, “Certainly this fellow was with him, for he is a Galilean.”
