John 7:16–17

16 3Jesus answered them and said, pMy doctrine is not Mine, but His who sent Me. 17 qIf anyone wills to do His will, he shall know concerning the doctrine, whether it is from God or whether I speak on My own authority.

John 7:16–17 — The New International Version (NIV)

16 Jesus answered, My teaching is not my own. It comes from the one who sent me. 17 Anyone who chooses to do the will of God will find out whether my teaching comes from God or whether I speak on my own.
