1 Paul, aan apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Timothy our brother,

To the saints band faithful brethren in Christ who are in Colosse:

To God’s holy people in Colossae, the faithful brothers and sisters in Christ:

Grace and peace to you from God our Father.

For we have heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and your love for all of God’s people, which come from your confident hope of what God has reserved for you in heaven.
